Why are there bubbles while I’m drinking?

Those little bubbles? No worries—they’re actually a good sign! They’re an essential part of how air up® works.

When you drink with the pod activated, tiny air bubbles mix with your water. These bubbles carry scented air from the pod into your mouth. When you swallow, that air travels to your nose, and your brain turns it into flavor. So if you’re tasting something fruity or refreshing—it’s thanks to those bubbles, not something in the water.

Each sip should be a light mix of water and air—that’s the signature air up® experience. It might feel a bit unusual at first, but that bubbly sensation means everything is working as it should.

🛠️ Not getting bubbles? Try this:

  • Check your straw and mouthpiece—make sure any air holes aren’t blocked. If they are, try clearing them gently.

  • Insert the straw correctly into the mouthpiece—push it in all the way, up to the marked line on the straw.

  • Always drink upright—like sipping from a straw in a glass. Don’t tilt the bottle.

  • Still no bubbles? Try taking the bottle apart and reassembling it—sometimes that’s all it takes.
