Question 1

Does it work with a blocked nose?

Accepted Answer

Since air up®'s Scentaste™ technology is powered by your sense of smell — specifically retronasal olfaction — a blocked nose may make the scent-based flavouring feel more subtle than usual. Think of it like eating your favorite meal when you have a cold: the flavour is still there, but it's just not as vivid. The good news? Your water stays exactly what it is — Just water, 0% sugar, 0% artificials — whether your nose is working at full capacity or not. 💧 Once you're feeling better and your sense of smell returns, the full scent-enhanced hydration experience will be right there waiting for you. 🌿

Question 2

Is it safe for kids, pregnant people, or vegans?

Accepted Answer

Good news — air up® is designed to be safe and enjoyable for almost everyone, including kids, pregnant people, and vegans.👶🌱 Why can you sip with confidence? It’s just water
Nothing is added to the water itself. No artificials. No sugar. Just water. Flavour comes through scent
The pods create a scent-based flavour experience using scents from ingredients such as fruits, herbs, and spices. As you drink, your brain connects what you smell with what you taste, while you’re still simply drinking water. Tested and approved
air up® has been tested by independent research institutes and confirmed to be safe. The pods are also vegan and allergen-free. If you have specific dietary sensitivities or health concerns, it’s always best to check with your doctor. Otherwise, you can simply enjoy your water — with a clever twist that makes staying hydrated more enjoyable.

Question 3

Am I really just drinking plain water?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you really are. And that’s the clever part. With air up®, you’re drinking plain water. Nothing is added to the water itself. No artificials. No sugar. Just water. So how can it taste like Cherry Kola, Bubble Gum or even Virgin Mojito? It’s all thanks to scent. As you drink, air flows through the pod and carries its scent with it. This scented air travels with each sip into your mouth and up to your nose. Your brain connects what you smell with what you taste, creating the experience of flavour – while you’re still just drinking water. This clever scientific principle is called retronasal smelling. In simple terms: you taste what you smell. So yes, it really is just water – with a clever twist that makes staying hydrated more enjoyable. Check out this video to learn more.

Question 4

How does air up® compare to sodas?

Accepted Answer

Sodas often contain high amounts of sugar, phosphoric acid and calories. While they can be refreshing, they’re not always the best choice for everyday hydration. air up® gives you the flavour cravings you love (like Kola or Orangeade) but with none of the guilt. You get the "yum" of a soda with the "ahhh" of pure water. It’s basically a cheat code for healthy living. 0% sugar. 0% artificials. Just water — flavoured by scent.
